Boynton Village Community Development District
The Boynton Village Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, and established on September 6, 2015 by the City of Boynton Beach, Florida Ordinance No. 06-073, as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.
The Boynton Village CDD encompasses an area of approximately 101.184 acres within the unincorporated area of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida. The land within the District is generally located west of the Lake Worth Drainage District Canal E-4, east of Congress Avenue, north of Old Boynton Road and south of South Florida Water Management District Canal C-16.
The Boynton Village CDD was established to plan, construct, reconstruct, acquire, equip and install certain public infrastructure improvements and facilities consisting of certain surface water management facilities, off-site improvements and roadway improvements.
